Anita’s hand painted dog, "Heritage", was sold by Silent Auction at the “Art on Main” event, raising $975.00 for the Preble County Animal Shelter’s new building.
"Heritage" is painted in warm 'wolf grays' with rich textures in the lines of the dog's coat. Hidden in the dog's long hair are numerous wolves, running, hunting, howling, or sitting. Anita used a special phosphorescent paint for the eyes that will cause them to glow at night after the lights go out. "Heritage" is signed and dated and is an original 31" tall painted ceramic sculpture.
