sidebarAnita is known for her realistic bronze sculpture that captures the lively interaction of children, adults, and animals. Her sculpture expresses that special moment when two living things "connect" or interact. Anita artfully captures those special moments of drama and suspense in bronze forever. |

Anita did this sculpture of "Bo" as a life-size bronze portrait for his loving owner, Barbara Hiestand Evans. Barbara adopted "Bo" from the local animal shelter and he rewarded her by giving her all his love and affection. I tried to portray this wonderful dog's proud and noble spirit as he sat and calmly surveyed his surroundings. Barbara is an avid advocate of the Preble County Humane Society's plan to build a new animal shelter for "Bo's" many friends who are still waiting to be adopted. |

Sculpture that captures the spirit of a brief moment caught in time and space… sometimes nostalgic, sometimes whimsical, …but always heartening, energetic, and full of life.
